Support
Real questions, answered by a real person — not a queue.
The team reads every message. There's no dedicated support desk yet — Veil is early — so response times vary, but nothing is automated or ignored.
Frequently asked questions
What if I forget my Veil PIN?
If you've set up a Veil PIN for Vault/Wallet, a recovery key was shown to you once, at setup time — store it somewhere safe and offline. Either the PIN or the recovery key unlocks your protected content; if you lose both, that content cannot be recovered by anyone, including Veil, by design. Your core Veil ID itself doesn't use a password — it's a device-held identifier, not something you can be locked out of the same way.
Is my Vault data backed up?
No — Vault (Notes, Passwords, Documents) stays on your device only and is never uploaded to Veil's servers. If your device itself has iCloud backup enabled, that's Apple's own device backup covering your device generally, not something Veil does. Losing your device without a device backup means losing Vault content, unless you've set up a Veil PIN and kept its recovery key safe.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account and its data are removed from our live service as part of the deletion — not a delayed or scheduled process. Copies can remain in our backups for a limited period before they are gone from every copy (see the Privacy Policy for how long). Those backups exist to recover from a server failure, not to restore an account you've deleted, so it's worth being sure first.
Does Veil work outside the UK?
Yes — Veil works anywhere with an internet connection. Our infrastructure and legal entity are UK-based.
How do I report illegal content or activity?
Email support@veilsuperapp.com with as much detail as you can safely provide. Because most content on Veil is end-to-end encrypted, we often can't see it ourselves — but we take every report seriously and act on what's within our power.
